Dr. Owens was born in Dubuque, Iowa in 1951. He attended Laras College and graduated in 1973. He then went to Dental School at the University of Iowa and graduated in 1977. He stayed in Iowa and did his residency in Pediatric Dentistry, which was completed in 1979. Dr. Owens moved to Tulsa in the summer of 1979 and joined Dr. Frank Sommer as an associate.

After being with Dr. Sommer’s practice for one year, Dr. Owens decided to open his own practice in Broken Arrow and has been there since. He feels very blessed to be in the profession he is in. He never dreads coming to work and says the kids are a constant source of laughter and information. It has been one of Dr. Owens pleasures in seeing kids grow up to become responsible young adults.

As employees, we are very blessed in having such a wonderful employer. Dr. Owens is such a caring person. He is the most patient person one could ever meet. There’s one word that describes him best and that is “AWESOME”!!!
